We collect only what the product requires, we never sell it, and the most sensitive data you give us — your portfolio — exists only to render your shirt.
01What we collect
- List data. The email address you submit to join the list.
- Account data. Name, shipping address, and order history once you enroll.
- Portfolio data (members only). For iSPY: your year-to-date return. For Deep ITM: your top five holdings, their weights, and an aggregated portfolio value used to compute your star band. We retrieve this through Plaid, a third-party connection you authorize and can revoke.
- Technical data. Standard analytics — device, browser, pages viewed.
02How we use it
List data is used to notify you of enrollment windows and drops. Account data fulfills your order. Portfolio data is used solely to generate the personalized graphic printed on the back of your garment, and to determine your star rank. We do not use portfolio data for advertising, profiling, or resale.
ITM requests read-only access to your brokerage. We cannot trade, move money, or see your login credentials — Plaid handles authentication and returns position data only. You can revoke access at any time from your member dashboard or your Plaid account.
03Who we share it with
We share data only with processors required to run the business: Plaid (portfolio connection), Shopify Payments (billing), Klaviyo (list management), Apliiq (printing and fulfillment), and our shipping carriers. Each receives only the data it needs. We never sell personal or portfolio data to anyone.
04How long we keep it
Portfolio data is retained for the active quarter and the production cycle of your piece, then aggregated or deleted per our retention schedule. You may request deletion of your data at any time by writing legal@ITMCollection.com.
05Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to opt out of its sale (we don't sell it). To exercise any right, contact us at the address above. Unsubscribe from the list in one click via any email we send.
